raycreekorchids send orders out
as quickly as possible. This is normally between 3-5 days from
receipt of the order. Orders are sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcels, or similar. To ensure your orchids arrive in perfect condition they will not be despatched when we consider the weather is unsuitable.
You may cancel your order for any
reason within seven days of receipt of your goods. Provided the
goods are returned in good condition we will refund your payment
within 30 days. In the case of credit card payments, the refund
will only be made to the card used for the payment. This does
not affect your statutory rights. In the event of the goods being
unsuitable, we offer a full refund policy. In this case the goods
must be returned within 14 days. In the case of credit card purchases
refunds will only be made to the credit card on which goods were
purchased. Cheques will only be issued for postal purchases. Credit
card refunds will be made within seven days, and postal refunds
within 14 days. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Legal compliance
This returns and refunds policy
is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which
came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This
law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer
does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not
governed by these regulations.
Your rights as a consumer
In accordance with the law, you
have a 7 day "cooling off period" in which you have the right
to cancel your purchase and receive a refund. You do not need
to give a reason for canceling your purchase. We are obliged to
refund your payment in full within 30 days of your cancellation.
Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 7 days "cooling

UK is the country of domicile. We cannot accept liability for
goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap
the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to
return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier.
Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please
remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your
purchase receipt.
Refunds for unwanted goods
Providing that unwanted goods are
received by us in a perfect and resale-able condition within
7 days of delivery, we will refund payment for the goods. Orders
placed by credit or debit card from this website will be refunded
directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other
means will be refunded by cheque. These refunds will be made within
30 days of return of goods.
Breakages and damage
Please ensure that you open the
box and inspect the delivery before refusing items for breakages or damage.
Refused deliveries where the items are found not to be broken or damaged
will be charged a re-delivery charge.
